Horribly disappointed ! May 24, 2012
"We ordered this cake for a birthday ! We had it delivered the day prior to the birthday party . Which was a good thing . The cake arrived in the late afternoon , the ice packs had melted and the cake had imploded and was warm and melted . It looked like it had exploded in the container , basically a hot mess ! Thank goodness it came a day before the birthday party and we were able to get another cake to replace our cake purchased from Shari's Berries ....."

"I'm coming down right in the middle on this one. When I first opened the very carefully assembled package, I was very surprised to see several distinct cracks in the cake's icing plus a good sized piece of the icing decoration had broken off and was lying on top of the cake. Bad first impression. Strawberries are pretty scarce in this cake. They are not whole or cut berries but something like pieces of cooked strawberries that come frozen. All of that said, the cake did taste quite good. There is a strong strawberry taste even though not that many berries. If someone is planning to send this cake as a gift to a friend or relative, I would think twice, maybe three times. Not a bad cake for too much money, but a poor presentation and first impression right out of the box. Don't make bad first impressions!"
